David Taylor

David has served as Lead Pastor of Christian Community Church since 2004. For more than two decades, he and his wife, Karen, have been devoted to helping people know Christ, grow in Christ, and faithfully follow Him in every season of life.

David is committed to expository preaching that clearly teaches God’s Word and points people to the hope of the gospel. Karen has a heart for encouraging and caring for others through hospitality and discipleship. Together, they desire to see people become mature followers of Jesus and to cultivate a gospel-centered church family where people are loved, encouraged, and equipped to make disciples.

David and Karen have been married for more than 35 years and are grateful for God’s faithfulness to their family. Their children and grandchildren continue to bring them great joy. Outside of ministry, they enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring Alaska, reading, hiking (Karen), and fly fishing (David).
