Whether you're new to Homer or just finding your way to our home for the first time, we are glad you're here! We are a community that is family, where grace reigns and where Jesus rules.
Due to the COVID 19 virus, we are not meeting corporately on Sundays until further notice, and all mid-week ministry programs on site have been canceled. Pastor David is posting a live-stream of his weekly sermon and a worship set available to watch live or later at https://www.facebook.com/cccHomer.
Instead, we are meeting as Life Groups, Discipleship Groups, and other informal small groups. A few of these are meeting in person but others are meeting online through platforms such as Slack or Zoom. We encourage you to join one of these groups so that we can stay connected as Christ followers, learning to be and make disciples, walking in faith instead of fear!
Once we get permission from our city and state government to meet collectively as a church, we invite you to join us as we gather for our Sunday morning celebration service 10:30 am. - 12:00 pm. Our worship style is blended with predominantly contemporary songs and occasional rich hymns. The preaching is expository and gospel-centered. We generally offer kids' church during the sermon and midweek programs for all. We are all about Jesus, getting connected with Him and building relationships that are long-lasting and covenantal. With discipleship and ministry opportunities for all family generations, we want to see God advance His Kingdom through our church!
