The Ignite Youth Ministry Just Climbed to the top of Grace Ridge Mountain located across the bay from Homer, AK. It's just under 3,200 feet and just under 9 miles long. We hiked from the back of the trail up and over the ridge and down the front end and ended up at Kayak Beach. We pitched our tents and stayed the night in another blustering wet Alaskan monsoon. It was AWESOME!!! It was wet, wild and wonderful. Thanks to Josh Lockwood, Kathy Beachy and Sammy Shelton. Also a special thanks to the Sheldon Beachy for shuttling us over and back again through the rough Kachemac Bay waters!!!

Hebrews 12:1-2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
